| World AT Meeting 2010 just finished |
Also this year the meeting is on the end. On Sunday evening we have had the last familiar convivial mini-meeting, in the Aldo's garden, with the our friends still in Asti (members from Sicily, Poland, France). This morning also these friends are returning ( the latest 5 friends from Poland). As you know Saturday morning we have had discussions and decisions and Sunday morning the prizes regarding various contests (included Polish and French contests). More than 150 plates and cups ! A part the officials events we have passed ( I hope ) a fantastic friendly time as always. Only Sunday in the restaurant and the rest into the Aldo's Garden. A lot of typical food prepared by AT women and some men. Also the AT-bar has worked in full. Better not mention how many bottles of bear and wine .... Nice also (Saturday evening) the music by 15AT018 (ex 180). Not many members and QRM like the passed years but still many divisional representatives and members. As always only a little contribution requested. (10 Euro in total for the Aldo's garden meals). About decisions and new rules .... not so much. Some internal/divisional decisions and a new cat. of members : The Old Guard. These members will be soon showed on directory no more with they cat (3rd, 2nd, 1st, Super ) but only (Old Guard). The Old Guard will be formed by members with more than 25 years of continuous AT membership (25 years without interruptions). Every year the OG list will be update. They will be also considered life time members until they will resign. We tacked also other decisions but, I repeat, only for some divisional matters, appointments etc. etc.
In conclusion we haven't new general or world wide new rules but as new only the OG.
We have discussed also for new contests or to start again for the older like Directors on The Air, IOTA, PVPs etc.etc. but we have postponed them because, unfortunally, the propagation is still at low level. We will see next year. So, thanks to all participants and to all members. We hope to meet you at next World meeting on the end of August 2011. We will try - if possible - to organize it better. Cause our dear friend Mr Eddie 108AT012, one of oldest AT, for personal and health reasons, cannot continue his job, with his and 26AT024 Roy agrements, a new coordinator is appointed from today. 108AT046 Jim is the new coordinator. Congratulations and best wishes ! Tanks a lot also to Eddie for his job during the last 20 years. We hope that he will be soon in good health conditions. Thanks also to Lorraine 108AT045 ( Eddie's wife) for her help and job.

Geachte lezer,
hierbij deel ik U mede,dat een Alfa Tango Lidmaatschap ook kan aangevraagd worden via email.
Ik maak U er wel attent op dat er moet worden voldaan aan verchillende Criteria.
Zoals b.v 30 landen met QSL bevestigd hebben.
Ik krijg de laatste weken veel aanvragen van mensen die nog niet eens 1 [een] land bevestigd hebben?
Verder word dan alles door mij afgehandeld via Telefoon of email.

To join the AT group in the coutries where iscriptions are accepred is compulsory to have a minimum of 30 DXCC countries or 50 AT members worked and confirmed by QSL. All modes and all band (CB & HAM) are admitted. For CBers only 11 mtrs band is admitted. Only the countries included in DXCC list are considered valid.
The G.R.I. Alfa Tango recognize four operator categories. To join with third category just send a list of 30 DXCC countries or 50 AT members worked and confirmed by QSL. In order to obtain 2nd, 1st or S (Super) operator category, it's necessary to send a photostat for every country confirmed. In any case the group reserves the right to inspect the original QSL's in order to verify the qualifications.
